Transcripts
Panel 1: We are now focused on one specific door in the hallway. It is labeled “G1D33.23-3.” A scientist speaks from off-panel.
Scientist: Orders are orders yeah, but this is like putting duct tape on a cat’s paw- it’s just mean.
Panel 2: Both scientists are standing under one of the bright fluorescent lights of the corridor. They give each other a concerned look.
Panel 3: We are looking through the small wire-reinforced safety glass window on the door. The room is small and plain, as white and clean as the corridor. The edge of a spartan military-barracks-style bed covered in a light teal hospital-style blanket is visible from the left side of the window. On the right side, a long mirror runs along the wall.
Panel 4: A close-up of the brown-haired scientist’s clipboard. Most of the text is not readable, but the focus is on a block of text reading:
“Subject: GID33.233
Age: 8 years
Weight: 84.82 kg Habits: Loss of appetite, loss of activity, general apathy. Subject appears depressed.”
Panel 5: We see the blonde scientist from the neck to her nose.
Blonde scientist: Not really- you forget, 233’s the smartest of the bunch. I think he’ll figure it out.
